The Viking Masek ST400 is a compact, economical multilane stickpack solution designed to deliver flexibility, reliability, and consistent performance in a small footprint. Ideal for manufacturers seeking high-quality stickpack packaging without the cost or complexity of larger platforms, the ST400 maintains the rugged construction and precision engineering Viking Masek is known for.
The ST400 can be configured with 1 to 10 lanes, producing a wide range of stickpack formats for powders, granules, particulates, and liquids. It accommodates multiple filling technologies, including volumetric fillers, servo auger fillers, and servo-driven liquid fillers, making it suitable for food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic applications.
With production speeds up to 65 cycles per minute, the machine supports stickpack sizes from 17–40 mm in width and 40–200 mm in length, with flexible cutting options including straight, zigzag, and round cuts. Features such as automatic film tracking, precise length adjustment, Easy Change-Over™ components, and Siemens controls ensure efficient operation and fast changeovers.
Additional capabilities include easy-open features (tear notch or microperforation), various seal patterns and shapes, optional offset back seals, empty stick detection and rejection, dust extraction, static elimination, and stainless steel construction. The ST400 can also be integrated with printing systems and semi- or fully automated cartoning and robotic pick-and-place solutions.
