***SOLD***1 - Used R.A. Jones Orbital Small Cartoner  S/N: S-5297 Machine Center: 5" LH Machine Hand: LH Carton Range:  Length: Min 1", Max 4" Width: Min 0.75", Max 3" Depth: Min 2.5", Max 7" General Info: The R.A. Jones OSC is a constant motion horizontal cartoning machine designed for loading products into cartons. The OSC is manufactured to provide an extra margin of strength and reliability and will operate at a maximum speed of 150 cartons per minute.  Operation:  1. A bucket conveyor system transports the product from the transfer to the OSC. As the buckets travel into the OSC, a photoeye detects the product in the bucket. This detection engages the vacuum system to the Orbi-Trak carton feed system. An Orbi-Trak vacuum spindle assembly picks a carton from the carton magazine. The orbi-Trak spindle assembly places the partially opened carton between the leading and trailing transport lugs. The transport lugs complete the carton opening.  2. The open carton moves along the transport parallel to and in synchronization with the bucket. Guides control the top and bottom major flaps and minor flaps of the carton. A flap retarder guide guides the loading-side trailing minor flap along the outside of the bucket wall.  3. The barrel loader, moving in synchronization with the buckets, push the product from the bucket, through the guide buckets, into the carton.  4. The confined holds the product stable in the bucket during loading.  5. The carton enters the gluing station. A flap closer starwheel closes the trailing side flap on the loader side. Guides close the leading side flaps and fold up the lower major flaps. A strip of glue is applied on the lower major flap on the loader and non-loader side and the upper major flaps are folded down by guides.  6. The cartons are removed from the machine by discharge speed belts.  Carton Range: Min: 1" Max: 4" Width: Min: 0.75" Max: 3" Depth: 2.5" Capabilities: 150 Cartons Per Minute at maximum speed Skidding and Load out charges: There will be loading and skidding charges added to your purchase at market rates for your convenience.
